WISTLA® COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Community Guidelines, effective on 6 December 2016.
First off, please respect the property of others. Upload only photos and videos that you’ve taken or have the right to share with others. Think authentic content… Borrowing, downloading or screen-grabbing content from the Internet is uncool and more seriously, often it’s not legal.
Secondly, think of other users. Upload content that is suitable for a diverse audience, especially our younger users. We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images (maybe artistic etc.) but we do not allow full or partial nudity on Wistla. So no content showing sexual intercourse and genitalia…basically no bits and bobs please - it upsets the folks at Wistla HQ!
Thirdly, we are super cautious in respect to content that contains kids (aka users under 16) and we may remove content that we deem inappropriate. For instance, no sharing of sexual content involving minors please…
Number 4 - spam-tastic we are not. Wistla is not designed to be spam machine, so don’t use our Service to bombard users with non-genuine Wistls.
Number 5 - we are law abiding citizens! So don't use Wistla to support terrorism, crime (including offering sexual services, illegal drugs and firearms) or hate groups or indeed threatening or intimidating, blackmailing or harassing behaviour. And if we catch you inciting violence or encouraging others to attack anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases, then we will be straight on the blower to the local feds…just sayin’!
Number 6 - we pride ourselves on being caring folk and hope that our users can find info on how to support and manage difficult personal topics such as cutting, eating disorders, or other self-injury. But please please remember that while Wistla can be used to support, its not a place to encourage self-injury or harm.
Number 7 - our Wistler folk can be spirited types and love to rally around a cause that they think needs support. But if we see content or activity that looks dangerous to the public or has the potential to be dangerous, we may have to remove it. Keep it safe people.
Number 8 - newsworthy topics often create an “upload and share” reaction. We understand this, but use common sense and show some sensitivity. Uploading violence and the suffering of others that is not in the public interest, is not so cool.
